My theater is doing a play where smoking is required for one scene. Where can I find real looking cigarettes that have actual smoke but aren't the real thing? Thanks!

I've not used them, but they look like what you're looking for.

I needed cigarettes for my last show. I found a novelty store in our local mall. (Is Spencer Gifts a national chain? They must be.) They have packages of two for $1.95 and no shipping fee. That was the problem that I had ordering on line. The shipping was more then item. They really smoke too. You have to practice a bit, and they don't last forever, and you will probablly need more then one package. Anyway, if anyone is interested in how realistic they are. After opening night the actor's wife was furious with him. She thought he had taken up smoking again!

We ordered a quantity of these fake cigarettes from Theatre House and were very satisfied with them.  They held up quite nicely through our 6-show run of The Odd Couple.  We just ordered plenty so that we would have extras on hand...lots of shows indicate a smoker in the cast.
