Hello,  I am trying to determine what pay would be appropriate for a couple of positions related to community theater and I am wondering if anyone knows of a trade journal, magazine or organization that collects pay data.  Basically I am trying to determine equitable pay for a Director who primarily focuses on advertising and securing perforamnces both from local groups and professional ones.  Additionally she oversee a secondary facility that runs recently released movies.  She does not technical theater and does NOT direct any plays or performances.  She has an assistanct director who assists, who oversees volunteers and high school staff at the recent release theater, and who also runs the farmers market in the summer.  Neither have a background in theater and both are more focused on publicity.  Anyone have anything similar?  If you do what do you pay these people?  I could really use help.  Thanks!!

Yes more so than a traditional director.  As for if she is any good I really don't know.  I've been told many smaller communities end up with similar personnel in such positions.  Do you know of any organization or group that collects or publishes wage data for community theaters?  Or are there members that would be interested in submitting thier information if a compiled listing were given to them at completion?
