Try the ACSI Teachers' Convention in your area. It's a Christian school organization, but they do have seminars in performing arts. They also allow non-members to pay an extra price to attend. acsi.org |

You don't say where you're located. If you're in/near New York
state: I've been hired to give several seminars at NYSTEA (New York State Theatre Education Association) conferences. Their website is http://www.nystea.org Also, as an adjudicator for TANYS (Theatre Association of New York State), I've given several directing workshops for them. I know that at their big annual festival weekend (sometime in November I believe), in addition to the adjudications of the competing plays, there are various workshops, lectures, discussions, etc. to take part in. Their website is http:// www.tanys.homestead.org If you aren't around New York, try googling theatre education + your state - most states have a state theatre education organization or two. Good luck - both finding a workshop and on your theatre journey! |
