Okay - here's a real scorcher for you! I've looked everywhere and cannot find either of the two shows I would entirely love to do.
The first is "A Patch of Blue" the second is "To Sir with love". (Can anyone guess that I'm a Portier fan?) I doubt that "Sir" has been done on stage, since it is a movie, but I am almost certain that "A Patch of Blue" has. Any ideas on where I might find scripts/rights? Thanks! |

A Patch of Blue is one of my all time favorite movies and books. I can't help with the answer to whether it is in a stage play form. The original title was, "Be Ready with Bells and Drums" and it was by Elizabeth Kata (I think). I also think it went from novel to screenplay and skipped the stage presentation, but I could be mistaken. (What a powerful story!)
