I am doing the musical, Scarlet Pimpernel (set during the French Revolution...1792). I could use a few muskets (long antique looking rifles). That is the best way for me to describe them.
I once went to a theatrical garage sale for a theatre troupe that was going out of business. They had a few muskets or rifles that they had made from 1 x 4 lumber and pipe. They looked simple to make yet were great looking. I wish I had purchased them. But, anyway, would anyone know how to make those? Pattern?? Thanks! |

Last summer, our props mistress made some seriously cool AK-47s for Miss Saigon. With a little tweaking, I'm sure they could turn into 18th century long guns. I'll be seeing her over the weekend and will see if she kept her templates. One way or the other, I'll touch base Sunday night and let you know if we can help. |
