THEATRE NEWINGTON-OnStage announces auditions for the Rick Abbot 3-act comedy: PLAY ON! directed by Jennifer Gresh.
Anything can and does go wrong when a theatre troupe tries desperately to present a royalty-free play, despite non-stop interference from the novice playwright. The actors are awful, the script appalling, the props malfunciton and the sound effects take on a life of their own!
AUDITION SCHEDULE:
Tuesday/Wednesday, Sept. 15 & 16, 2009 @ 7:00 pm
Newington Town Hall Council Chambers
131 Cedar Street (Rt. 175)
Newington, CT
CASTING:
10 roles: 7F (playing mid-20's-60's) & 3M (playing late 20's-60's)
British accent is required for several roles.
Scripts available @ auditions for cold readings.
Closed rehearsals start October 18th.
Show dates: December 11 & 12, 2009
