I am planning the sets for our middle school production of "Heidi" and our high school production of "Little Women." I am new to this and very visual. If I look at a collection of other sets, I can get ideas for what I would like to do. I don't know if that is called cheating.

I have been searching the web for these two plays, to look at past productions. Is there a website that displays photos of sets or theatre production photos?

I don't think looking at other sets is "cheating".  As a Technical Director, I rely on research of area and time to come up with my designs.  The problem you run into, by looking at other sets, is becoming to reliant on other people's ideas and the desire to do something they have designed.  You don't want to plagerize.  Best thing to do is research what era and geography of the play and have a good idea of what you want already in your head.
