Here's something I just posted on a site for community theaters in the southeast, but anyone interested can join us and raise money for their theater while having a great time!

The Joe Jefferson Players are once again presenting a community theater at sea cruise sailing from New Orleans on March 5th aboard the Norwegian Sun to Cozumel, Mexico - Belize City, Belize - Roatan , Honduras and Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. This is a fund raising cruise for the theater that will feature a private cocktail party and a special JJP show produced just for this cruise. Prices start at just $860 per person for this 7-night theatrical vacation.

John Richards of CruiseOne in Mobile is organizing the cruise and would like to invite any other community theater group to join the cruise as a fund raiser for their theater. The last cruise raised over $3,000 for the JJP and a great time was had by all! A participating theater would need to come up with a one-act play that requires little in the way of sets. You just choose your cast from those who have signed up for the cruise. Your theater will receive a check following the cruise from CruiseOne and Norwegian Cruise line based on the number of people you have sign up from your area. If we can get two or three theaters to join the JJP, we would have more community theater plays to enjoy on the cruise and a larger theater crowd to socialize with.
