Community Theater Green Room Discussion Board: Stars website

   I just wanted to invite everyone to check out the new Stars in our Eyes, inc. website at www.StarsinourEyes.biz. We've been working on it for a while!

While it focuses primarily on theatre in northwest Georgia, it also
includes an extensive section on how to get an agent...or, more
appropriately, how NOT to get an agent! We've gathered advice from
numerous sites and put it all together in an effort to help folks
distinguish the difference between modeling schools, conventions, etc.
and a real, bonified agency. 

You are also welcome to post your upcoming auditions and news on
the message board. (Right now, we're casting "Beauty and the Beast," so
there's quite a lot of info about that on the board...just wade through
it to get to what you're looking for!)

We are not an agency and make no profit whatsoever off of any of
our camps, shows, etc. All of our proceeds are donated to community
organizations. We do, on occassion, help casting directors simply
because there is no legit agency in our area to do so. We also try to
help guide aspiring hopefuls in their quest for finding a good agent
and keep them from wasting their time and money on sketchy ventures.

There are also numerous photos from our past shows that you might find
interesting, including Grease, Bye Bye Birdie, Shenandoah, Hello Dolly,
etc. etc. and even some candids with members at stage doors after
Broadway shows.
