Community Theater Green Room Discussion Board: finding out about sound effects

   Hi, I'm at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and can't find any useful information about. How has electricity changed the way sound is used in the theatre. If anybody could give me some useful websites in sound in general and sound history. I would be very grateful. Thanks

	Hi Jonathan, Check out the "Yamaha Live Sound Reinforcement Handbook". It sells for about $(US)36.00 and comes highly recommended. There is a companion book for places of worship, if you are interested, too. Cheers, Russell
