Our CT Dinner theater celebrates its 20th season this year. About two years ago, it formed a repertory company as a separate entity from which they could select talent for shows, as well as to support the performers, provide education, and promote theater in our community - a type of talented booster club, if you will. This group has been struggling for identity since its formation, constantly looking to our Board President for direction instead of standing on its own. This year, they seem to have reached the critical mass to stand on their own. I was elected President-Elect and given the assignment to draft by-laws, mission statement and org chart for the group. Anyone have samples they can share so I don't have to re-create the wheel? Mission statements, org charts, position descriptions, by-laws - whatever you have is apprecaited for this type of group. Even advice and stories is appreciated. Thanks! Justin Larson, Knock 'em Dead Dinner Theatre, Boise ID beartoy69@yahoo.com |
