Could anyone tell me what kind of companies/theaters accept directorial proposals or any specific company/theater?

Well, my theatre accepts proposals, but if we have to fly you in, you better have have a wealth of experience.

Part of the anguish of Community Theatre is trying not to do the same old things, so just send letters, resumes, proposals anywhere and everywhere. Eventually, as you grow as a director, you'll get work, though it may not be the work you thought it would be!

I?ll send you my Directorial proposal along with all the other info CV, Experience & even what I?ve had for breakfast - If your theatre will fly me in!!!

All it would cost them is a few gold bricks & I'd be over off faster than a dirty shirt!!!

I can never get my head around paying a Director in community theatre. I understand paying for the services of experienced ?black ducks?[ technicians] & the odd muso - but directors?

I?ll have to move to your side of globe - it must be a very lucrative game!
