Hooray for you! I too, got my first line in "Sound of Music" as Baroness Elberfeld: "Frau Shroeder is charming, Gayord." I was also in the nun chorus. (Tip: translate the Latin to see what you're actually singing. The "Rex Admirabilis" is pretty hot stuff!) Another cast member directed the next show, and cast me as Mrs. Bascombe in "Carousel." No lines, but a lot of attitude. I have moved on to more mid-level character parts, am taking an acting class and I'm loving it. Congrats again! |
