Community Theater Green Room Discussion Board: Help! I need a Stage Manger in NYC

   Any Stage Manager's on this list in NYC (Manhattan) - willing to work for free?  Stipend only (meals during rehearsals).

Must be familiar with AEA (Equity) Showcase Code.

Our production(about September 11) begins rehearsals in February (2003).

Also need lighting designer.

	I am an experienced, working LD with 35 years of theatre as well as studio & location television/video credits. Since you are obviously not a volunteer group, what are you paying your Lighting Designer? Do you cover travel expenses from a neighboring state to NY? Do you offer a reimbursement for other expenses? Could we work virtual via the web with exchange of AutoCAD drawings instead of travel to NYC? Aren’t there enough LDs and SMs in Manhattan to go around? Fiat Lux, Bil K
