In act 1 scene 1 of "Annie get your gun"Annie shoots a bird off Dollys head from behind a bush,it has to fall in front of DOLLY.Pulling a string doesn't work because Dollys back is to Annie.Any ideas would be more than welcome.

Not sure why your string idea wouldn't work? If connected a piece of fishing line to the bird and ran it off stage, someone off stage could pull it off.

Thanks for the reply Dan,here's how it looks:Dolly is sitting on a bench (usr)facing the audience, behind her is a bush, behind the bush is Annie(also facing the audience).Annie is supposed to shoot the bird off Dollys head from behind the bush, where it falls in front of Dolly,I had thought we could flick it off with the gun,but they are a bit far away from each other. But, if you have any ideas, let me know.
Thanks Maureen |
