Bit grim but we're doing a production of Misery, the leads leg has to be chopped off with an axe on stage. I've heard there are some good websites that make realistic limbs - any ideas?

We just did Misery this year... Instead of the "Chop" we did a "Smash" and used a sledge hammer... With the darkened scene, using only the flash light and some moonlight, Annie hit a piece of wood, hiddin in the bed.. Made a great bone breaking sound..

Thanks both of you, that website is perfect, searching on dismembered limbs was taking me to some very dodgy websites!
I wish I could get the director to agree to the "smash" alternative, but it's a no go! Which leaves me with the problem of showing him afterwards with his foot missing..... |
