Can someone tell me the best place to find a good free sound effect library, on line preferably. I would be willing to pay a minimal amount if I could get a good selection, easily previewed, etc.

While it's a bit expensive ($30 a month) sonomic.com has a great selection, also they do give you full samples to listen to so technically if you have some progrma that lets you record/edit sound on your computer you might be able to capture the sound for free. Also try going on google and search for "free sound effects", or "sound effect libraries." That may work, but will bring up alot of junk sites. |

I don't know if is on line (it should be), but George Lucas has a hell of a good sound effects library.

This is just one of many out there just google the free sound effects and you will find lots I also use Ares alot
