Anyone know any snazzy books/websites about making puppets? I'll take free advice too
.
Ideally, I need some big, Muppety/Avenue Q sorts of puppets to interact
with actors in a fairytale theater style script of Russian Wonder
Tales.

Hi,
I used to teach puppetry at Interlochen Center for the Arts in MI and was also trying to find some muppet patterns I used when working there. I found a mouth puppet by doing a google search. I found a place where you could purchase the patterns online for $10.00 and they email them to you to print out almost immediately. The puppet it makes is over two feet long and comes with a variety of clothing patterns to fit it. It was at a place called 1001 Mouth Puppets. Colin |
