Community Theater Green Room Discussion Board: Publisher info for Korczak’s Children

   I'm trying to find the publisher of Korczak's Children by Jeffrey Hatcher so that I can get a perusal copy and inquire about performance rights.  I've been googling for the past hour and found plenty of productions but no mention of the publisher!
Also, has anyone done this play or the following?  With what response?
Anne Frank and Me
And then they came for me
I Never Saw Another Butterfly

	Hi Lauri, I am stumped too. I can usually find a play fairly quickly. Sorry, no luck this time. I did find that most of Jeffrey Hatcher's plays are carried by Dramatists Play Service. I would contact one of the theaters that have done it Seattle Rep or Children's Theater of Minnesota. I have never directed any of these shows but have see both "Anne Frank and Me" and "I Never Saw Another Butterfly" many, many times. They are very popular at play festivals. I have seen them done badly with way too much melodramatic angst! I have also seen them done well, especially I Never I Saw Another Butterfly. Good luck. Linda

	I saw the production of I Never Saw Another Butterfly that won the AACT Festival two years ago - an absolutely wonderful play. Takes a strong young (18-21) woman as the lead. It is on my to do list for sometime when I can get the actors I need.
