Does anyone know where to find wide white shade cloth in western canada - and is it like landscaping fabric? And has anyone used it? I have used landscaping fabric and need to know if it is the same material as shade cloth. |

I?m not sure what you might mean by ?Landscaping fabric?, but I use ?Shadecloth? for scrims & transformation cloths, it works well! You should be able to get this where you are, in most Outdoor or Garden hardware centres. It is a plastic woven material, loom woven similar to the sharktooth weave [used in Cycloramas] It comes in various shade ability from 25% to 90% on an average. The choice of density will governs it?s transparency of course! It comes in various plain colours of black, green, brown & also white. Along with multi colourd stripes. We can get it on the roll in sizes upto 3.6 metre widths (12?) which is ideal for most community theatre spaces. I hope this helps! |
