And for my second bloody show question - After a hand to hand fight, the victim is stabbed. Again, we have to see the blood. Because of all the activity right before the stabbing, I'm a little concerned about going with pre-slit plastic bags. We don't have any nice retractable blade knives, anyhow, and I'd like to use one with a retractable blade AND a blood bladder. At least, I'm assuming that's the best way to stab-n-bleed. Any suggestions for sources? Or simple rigging? Thanks. |

What the heck is the name of this show?!
Was it written by Sam Peckinpah? |

If all of your replies are going to make me laugh as hard as "Sam Peckinpah" did, I don't think I should mention the show - just to keep the entertaining guesses going. We are doing Jane Martin's "Flaming Guns of the Purple Sage - a 'B' Western Horror Flick for the Stage." We also have to have a garbage bag full of human body parts. Oh, and the shooting victim then drinks a beer that we see come out of his bullet holes. Fun times ...

Sure you are done already but FYI the best blood packs I have ever used are made with a Cheap condom. (non lube) they break every time. The actor breaks these themselves so it works better for gunshots than stabing. Be sure to tie them tight. Happy blood bath!!
