We did "The Jack Tales" this year with much success and was wondering if anyone knows of something similar to be considered for next year's schedule.
Thanks |

Hi Laurie,
"Paul Sill's Story Theatre" is a good choice and in the same vein as the one you mentioned. Another good one is"William's Window," which takes several scenes from Shakespeare and introduces them using contemporary kids, all but one of whom is "bored." You can add or delete or change any of the scenes, too. Still some other plays of that type are "Tales From Hans Christian Andersen" and "Tarheel Tales," "I Believe in Make Believe," "Southern Fried Cracker Tales"--all from Anchorage Press. Colin |
