Some of you might know that I'm planning to direct a full length show this summer and also act in it. I still plan on doing the show, but I'm waiting till after summer as I'll have more people, better schedule, better venue and a few other better things. Problem is that I still really wanna do something this summer. I'm thinking of going back to my original plan and doing a one-act. So here's my idea. I put off auditions for 'Dinner for Several' until September. I direct a one-act this summer and maybe get someone else to do one too to make the show longer and split the space cost. Something with really minimal set and nearly no budget at all. I only charge $3 a ticket and the ticket is also a coupon for $1 off the ticket price of 'Dinner for Several' when I put that show up a few months after the one-act night. Any thoughts? |

Sounds like a good plan! It is always good to use one show to build another. Good luck!
