I'm looking for shows, either full-length or one-acts that have primarily youngers characters between say 18 and 30. I read a lot of shows on samuel french or dramatists, but they really don't tell you age range of the characters. I know one should pick an interesting play and then cast it accordingly, but there's a group of actors that I wanna work with and I want something where they're not all playing 45+ characters. Any and all suggestions welcome |

In the High School I work in we recently did "Henrietta the Eighth". It has alot of "young adult" parts. Our kids seemd to enjoy it. We seem to go thru the same problem as well, so this was anice change for them.

i would try the living by anthony clarvoe, a fascinating look into the 1600's plague. It was one of the best plays i think i ever put on, yet you'll need a budget that can keep up with the scripts called for set, costume, etc. |
