Someone told me about Crimes of the Heart. I havent seen it or read the play. Does anyone know alot about this play? Email me with some details. It sounds interesting. I would like to put this on if it is suitable for a Bible-Belt community.

I just wrapped a production of "Crimes". While it is billed as a comedy, please be aware of dark themes: insanity, suicide, alcohol and drug abuse, attemtped murder and adultery. Yes, these are handled with humor, but it is very black, and will not work if too 'slap-sticky'. Beth Henley is a Southern writer, and she appeals to the Southern Gothic crowd, not really too the Bible Belt.
