My theatre group is staging Once On This Island in early 2012. I'm looking for any ideas for a tree that is weight bearing for Ti Moune and possibly the other Gods and also an idea for the construction of a hut.

I don't know the play, but does it have anything to do with the Tyburn Tree?

We built the framework of the tree from wood then covered it with dutchman (muslin paper machet). It worked out well. We did not really have a hut, just implied it. good luck
