I know this isn't a necessary item for the show, but it would add an awesome WOW factor. Has anyone been successful in building an elephant for the "Prince Ali" scene in this show?
My gut is telling me the easy route is an elephant facade out of plywood bracing with ladder/scaffolding in the back for Aladdin to sit. This on a truck for pulling/pushing across floor. Any other less tacky, yet doable and affordable ideas out there? Show is 2 weeks out. Thanks! |

I would agree that a 2D elephant would be the way to go considering your time. a good paint job, maybe some fabric glued on for elephant skin texture. a flexible trunk out of some kind of fat hose that could be puppetted (i know that may not be a word) would be fun.
