We are performing Hairspray and need to make the infamous blow torch that frees tracy from her jail cell. I really need something that is non-flammable...so something electric or battery powered is what I need. I am open to any suggestions. Thanks!Susan

could you do something with a small fan of some nature with some colored silk to be the "flames" shot out by moving air? Or rather than a fan how about a can of compressed air (like for blowing dust out of electronics components)?
