"Shear Madness" has been running in Boston since
1980 and has only been licensed for performance to
select groups and cities. The Producers are Bruce
Jordan & Marilyn Abrams. Currently, I believe, are
officially-sanctioned productions in Boston, Chicago
and Washington, DC. which have been running for
hundreds of performances.   An attempt to stage the
show here in the Twin Cities was met with lukewarm
reviews and small audiences. It closed after a few
weeks. It is unlikely the producers will be receptive
to granting performance by a non-professional
company as I believe they are seeking franchise
opportunities much like "Tony 'n' Tina's Wedding."
