One of my actresses has skin that simply ABSORBS makeup. Anyone else have this problem or a solution to such?
In our last production, I applied her makeup as follows with semi-good results:
* lotion (for extra dry skin)
* base (she had to be silver)
* powder
* base, highlights, shadows
* powder
* highlights, shadows
* powder
Does anyone have any other solutions as this took a considerable amount of time.

did you try an ointment in a thin film before applying the make up to create a barrier? something like a hyrdocortosone ointment - or even a baby rash ointment. Anything that will keep moisture out of the skin.
