I am currently working on a production of A Year with Frog and Toad and we are doing some rigging to get leaves to fall during the fall season. I was wondering if anyone knows where you can buy flame retardent leaves or if how to make some. The director would love them to be a little larger then real leaves so we were thinking of making them out of construction paper however that is rather flamable. Any help would be much appreciated.

We just finished Cyrano and for Fall leaves for Scene 5 where they are required we pulled apart fall garland made out of flame retardent plastic/nylon leaves the colors are brilliant and they work really well especially when sent through the type of rigging to make them fall!

Copy and paste this link into your browser. It will direct you to a source for flame-retardant paper of many colors.
