Hi
We are a small CT with a VERY limited budget - we are what you would call "small town!"
I'm wondering if you have any suggestions for making Horton's Egg in Seussical. We could paper mache, but I'm worried it will break. Any ideas?
What about ideas for cheap wigs? We'd like the bird girls to each have a different color wig, but they can get expensive!
What about Mazie/Gertrude's tail? Any suggestions?

Hi,
Try http://www.ustoy.com/novelty/default.htm for wigs. They have multi-colored neon wigs for about $5.00. each. For Maize/ Gertrudes tail try feather boas. US Toy again has these for around $5.00 each in lots of colors. I feel like I am pushing US Toy, but they are great resourse for these kinds of items.
Good luck.
Linda

Take a look at the pictures that Mr. Lowell posted under my topic "wings". These would be simple and inexpensive wings to make and the actors can "flap" them too....they're not just pasted to their backs.
