With luck, I'll be starting up a community theater sometime within the next two years. I'm trying to get all my ducks in a row so I know exactly what must be done by the time the opportunity arrives. I know that we cannot have everything we want all up front but....

The pertinent question here is: In order to have a prop room that is stocked enough to get us going and see us through our first season or two, what must be in it? What props must we have as our "essentials"?
